Comparative and International Studies Master

Specialised Joint Master programme
This degree programme takes into account the fact that the boundaries between international and domestic politics are gradually disappearing. It is offered jointly with the University of Zurich.

Language of instruction: English
Structure:
The master programme covers basic questions of political order and governance under conditions of international interdependence. Core courses include Political Violence, Democracy and Political Economy. A second aim of the degree programme is training in qualitative and quantitative research methods and design. Bachelor’s degree holders with a social sciences background are admitted.
Entrance requirements:
Qualifying Bachelor’s degree programmes: A Bachelor’s degree comprising at least 20 credits in political science, sociology, or economics or quivalent degree. The average grade in the final degree transcript must total 90% of the maximum possible grade.
