Agricultural Science Bachelor

Experts in World Nutrition

Agricultural scientists make a valuable contribution to ensuring reliable, ecological, economical and socially sustainable human nutrition. Here they strive to optimise the use of limited natural resources.

Structure:

The first two years cover scientific and subject-specific fundamentals. In the third year students select a major in Agricultural Science or Agricultural and Resource Economics. The programme is supplemented with excursions and a Bachelor’s thesis. Students also gain insight into practical situations through work experience in an agricultural setting, part of which may be completed before studies commence.

- General basic courses: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, etc.

- Social science subjects: Law, Economics General agricultural sciences subjects

- Areas of focus in Agricultural Sciences: Agricultural Sciences or Agricultural and Resource Economics

- Excursions, Bachelor’s thesis
