ETH Rector Heidi Wunderli-Allenspach used the opportunity to broach the issue of the embedment of ETH education into the dual educational system. In her speech, she pointed out that the future focus needs to be on securing the high quality instead of measuring quantitative aspects. According to her, this means investments into the dual system without "ifs and buts".
