The Image Archive comprises the collection of photographic and audiovisual documents belonging to the ETH-Bibliothek. The image holdings, comprising over 1.8 million documents, include the Portrait and View Collection, integral archives like the Archive of the photographic agency Comet Photo AG (with aerial photographs and contemporary historical documents dating from the 1950s onwards), the Luftbild Schweiz Archive and the Swissair Photo Archive as well as the photo archive of the foundation Documenta Natura.
